About Process Automation Overview
The Process Automation Overview page in OpsRamp provides a centralized, visual summary of all process automation activities. Accessible via Home > Automation > Process Automation 2.0 , this page offers a single point of insight into the activity of your automation workflows. It offers a high-level understanding of your process definitions, enabling you to quickly assess execution status, identify bottlenecks, and monitor overall automation health.
The key elements of the process automation overview page are:
- Executions: the overall process definitions executions that succeeded or failed , expressed in percentage.
- Events Triggered: the number of process definitions trigged based on the configured event types - Signal, Timer, or Manual.
- Pending Activities: the number of process definitions that are pending for deployment or approval. You can click on the number to view the data for more details and perform bulk or individual actions.
- Evaluated Entities: the number of entities that are assessed during the execution of a process workflow. Supported entity types are Alerts, Incidents, Resources and Service Request.
- Executed Service Tasks: the number of service tasks successfully executed as part of an automation workflow. Supported service tasks are Platform Services, Rest Web Services, and Utility Services.
- Executed Workflow Tasks: the number of workflow tasks executed as part of an automation workflow. Supported workflow tasks are Mails Sent, Call Activity, Script Tasks, and User Tasks.
- Top Workflows Success/Failure: the top five process definitions that were executed successfully/unsuccessfully.

Process Definition Name | The unique name of the process definition. |
Entity Type | The component category used to construct a process automation workflow. Supported entity types are Alerts, Incidents, Resources, and Service Request. |
Start Event Type | The event type that started the process automation. Supported start event types are Signal, Timer, and Manual. |
Number of Instances | The number of process instances executed for the process definition. |
Using Process Automation Overview
The following sections describe the various actions you can perform in the Process Automation Overview page.
Refreshing the dashboard
You can refresh the dashboard to view the latest data by clicking on the REFRESH button. You can also view the historical data by clicking the calendar icon and selecting option from Last 24 Hours, 2 Days, 3 Days, or 5 Days.
Viewing the dashboard data
To view the details of dashboard data, click on the number on a card. A dialog box appears with more details about the item.
For example, to view the Platform Services details in the Executed Service Task card, click the number below Platform Services. The Platform Services dialog box appears with details about service name and count.
